I shed manly tears twice while watching the last of the Digimon Adventure 02. And I burst into tears when it finished. My childhood complete :')

The last time I cried was a month ago when I saw my Grandfather in his casket. There's nothing like seeing the strongest, most bad-ass, tell you the hard truth because he loves you, conqueror in a casket. The damn guy kicked lung cancer's ass at 74, and went on to live several years after because he wanted to. So yeah, I don't feel bad about letting some water slip. The world lost a man who could build a house with his hands, shoot a crow on the wing in mid-air with a .22, or kill a buck at 150 yards in one shot with a .22 rifle. Work his ass off herding cattle and bailing hay, shrug off a broken arm, burn his callouses in a wood stove at night to harden them and cut them off with a knife, and still take his grandkids fishing. Still miss my Grandpa.

Pretty much whenever there's a part in a film or game or series when something great happens or something emotional happens to characters you have actually begun caring for. It doesn't have to be near the ending or anything, but it has to be something great. A decent example is the Lighting of the Beacons sequence of LOTR. When Theoden says 'And Rohan will answer.' and with the awesome music that plays, I'm always like 'Aww, Hell yeahh!' And just the epic-ness of the line, knowing that it will have a huge effect on the world and the characters, and that it's such a cool moment for men, because they have a chance of victory - that brings tears of mighty joy to my eyes as chills run down my spine. I know it's kinda stupid, but whatever.
I know what you mean..I always got that feeling when my shepard is made human spectre in Mass effect,

or at the end of both games

Deadman Wonderland when Nagi Kengamine (AKA: Owl) Died. was one of the saddest moments of my life. He's a man trapped in a twisted world where they're forced to fight gladiatorial matches in which the loser has an organ harvested. He was forced to face the woman he loved and threw the match and had his voice box taken out. But when the director found out he threw the match they killed his wife, he couldn't call out her name as he held her in his arms.

Few years later he works as a rebel leader who want to bring the horrible games to an end, However, he's not out for vengeance he just wants to be free and see his son on the outside so he can hold him in his arms. Turns out that his hope was a complete lie and that his child was harvested from his love when she died and that his memories of that child aren't real. He goes insane and starts killing friend and foe alike but quickly returns to his sense and discovers that the woman who's been helping the whole time (Who happens to love him but obviously he doesn't feel the same way) snaps him back into reality. As soon as that happens he gets shot in the stomach and collapses. As one of the primary antagonist (the one who killed his wife) is being shot Nagi in his dying breath stops him from getting away and gets caught up in the attack.

Any time a dog dies in a movie.

I've avoided a certain movie with Will Smith because of a scene I've heard about.

That damn dog had the same name as my dog. It was awful! I reckon it would be worse now since i had to put the old boy down.

Iron Giant. As a MAN you love the character, a giant fucking robot, that befriends a human child. You yearn to be that boy up until the point where the Iron Giant sacrifices himself. MAN tears everywhere.

I never actually watched Disney's The Lion King but I did cry a little when I saw this:

Actually the only thing that justifies the existence of this song.

Besides that this here gets me every time:

I've come close a couple of times to manly tears. But it seems I grow more immune to them each time. Soon.. I will never be able to muster... manly tears again...

forget about him WE never get to see her naked!!!
also thor will be back to earth sooner rather then later as both comics and movie continuity show us...

OT: i never cry from movies when I hardly cry and when i do its just from deep deep DEEP dipresion and alone... not cause i think "crying makes you a pussy" or some idiotic thing like that but whenever i do feel like crying i feel like being alone as well...

Any revenge scene makes me feel a bit unbalanced. A prime example would be the mech-suit scene from District 9, or the final stand-off between the hero and the villain in Avatar. I love seeing the bad guys get their comeuppance, especially when you can feel the righteous rage behind every punch.
Also, romantic scenarios when I'm single. They make me feel very lonely indeed, to be sure.

I teared up at that one part in Bastion.

When you carry Zulf through enemy territory, getting shot to hell the entire way, and the further you progress the less Ura continue to attack, until all of them but one stop shooting out of respect. The last one is beaten by his superior officer for attacking.
