Ok, so I've been thinking a lot about tattoos recently - I have one and would like more. I really like the new school throwbacks to Sailor Jerry type art, so I started drawing a piece. I wouldn't necessarily like it on myself, but I thought it was a cute concept.

I kind of got stuck thinking about what to add to it. I added the mushroom to balance out the right side and then the wiimote to give it some context. It got me thinking about my vices (booze and video games) and that it didn't make up quite enough space. For me nothing makes a Friday night (and ruins a Saturday morning) like getting shit fucked drunk and playing multiplayer video games with my friends. What's your ruin? Escapists, tell me your vices and give me inspiration*!


*I actually would like to discuss vices, not what you think would improve the drawing, and I don't care if you think tattoos are stupid. No one is holding you down and giving you one.

My vices? Caffeine, sugar, quotations, and music mostly. I can't imagine getting a tat based on the first 2 or the last, but I've often considered (and am still considering) getting a favorite quote tattooed either on my wrist or my shoulder. Just depends.

It's supposed to be a CD. I think it might look better when it's coloured in. But on the other hand it's a holiday tomorrow and I'm drunk and have been playing goddamn Paper Mario so my drawing skills are certainly suffering.

Maybe you could add in some sort of assault rifle sticking out.
One that is "cartoon-ish" enough for people to get it's not a REAL rifle, but a video game one.
