Some of you may know of the "Mardek" series of flash games, and those of you who do are undoubtedly fans of it, so to anyone who cares, here's a wee tidbit of information that's sure to put you in a suicidal depression; Pseudolonewolf, the games' creator, recently posted on his blog [http://www.fighunter.com/] that due to sponsorship issues he probably won't be able to release the games for free. Honestly, I was crushed when I found out. Mardek 2 is honestly the best game I've ever played, and I, along with many others, have been waiting for the third installment for over two years, so this was devestating to me.
Despite all the tears and self-harm, though, I don't really hold it against the developer. It wasn't his decision as such, and also he's trying to make flash game design work as an actual career, so the added income for him is a pretty big deal, but still, after I read the news post it made me feel like this:
Oh, and on a side note: I really don't want to see anyone posting here and saying "wut da hell is mardek y shud we care its not free". I posted this for fans of the Mardek series to read, so if you aren't one of those fans, this thread wasn't made for you.
