I actually saw a couple of episodes of that show when I was a kid. I would never have thought anybody could portray Mario and Luigi in live action without just looking silly, but those guys did a really good job!

I remember being a kid watching that show. I loved Mario as a Kid (Super Mario Bros 3 had only recently come out, I think), and always wondered why I never saw new eps of the Super Mario Bros Show. 3 month long airing? No wonder! I was always more excited about the Legend of Zelda show that came on. Sad that got canned too.

Sad he died. But, looks like he lived a good life.
