I thought all Nascar tracks are the same... round.

But then again, I, as are most other europeans, am pretty clueless about this Nascar thing.

The beauty with NASCAR and Indy oval racing is the where the tracks are at a tangent the angle of attack changes to where the car is and how fast its going, the purpose is to try to shorten the track by being as efficient in movement as possible with your driving style, also a certain driving style will favour one driver per track over another due to tyre load.

Oval racing sorts out the men from the boys.

Oh and I'm from Euroland, not a rabid Arkansas NASCAR fan.
