is any one else angry about how in marvel ultimate aliance 2 there is like amillion characters you never get to play as but are in the story none the less its insane they even take playable characters out of the first one and not have them be playable in the second one but they are there like spider woman and black panther they could have just as easily been playable characters (i know black panther is in the dlc but they left out like a hundred chacters from the game in that thing) i mean there is a hundred characters from the game i would like to play as but cant hercules, patriot, cloak and dagger, bishop, black widow, war machine, she hulk, and colosus
probobly more but cant think of any right now
its simply insane how much is left out

More characters are better for most games.

Also, I was out of breath after reading that, could you put in a few commas next time?

please make more sense

also they can't possibly fit everybody into the game what use is 1 billion plus characters if there is only one room or something like that

Please, please try to better your grammar. It's atrocious.
OT: Ultimate Alliance 2 had only one problem, in my opinion.
Not enough Deadpool.

OP: Please work on your punctuation and spelling, the post is a chore to read.

OT, yeah, I was sort of miffed about some characters not being playable, but then again the whole game is a bit lacking in variety when compared to the first one.
The thing I was most angry about was the fact that some of the supposedly awesome characters were made into wimps, most notably Venom... I was looking forward to playing him for almost the entire game, and then he turned out to be weakling.

MUA2 was almost completely inferior to the original in every way. Other than storyline, which is honestly debateable, and the addition of fusions, I can't think of anything they did better. Let's go down the line, shall we?

- Far less characters.
- Less powers per character.
- Less costumes per character.
- Less dynamacy to the powers that the characters did get.
- Worse voice acting. I know, I was surpised to. I mean, really, how could you do worse than Ultimate Alliance 1?
- Dialogue options that force you to pick what you say based on what bonuses you want, rather than what you actually should be saying.
- Removal of the comic book missions.
- Much shorter game. This was supposed to be offset by the game having two paths, but the levels are practically identical no matter which way you go, with only a view subtle changes and a couple different cutscenes.
- Relocking the characters you unlocked on a second playthrough unless you play in legendary mode.
- Not having a New Game+ mode unless you played back through on Legendary. (some folks like to just replay as gods, okay?)

And let's see.... what'd they do better?

- Storyline is better, at least I thought so. Technically this is subjective.
- Fusions were added. Granted, many of them are identical, but some are kind of neat to see.
- A new mechanic for healing and teammate revival was added that was kind of cool, I'll admit.
- There's this one part where you talk to Firestar and you can ask her if it's good working with Iceman and Spiderman again and she goes, "It's nice to have such amazing friends." Seriously, it was awesome. And if you don't get it than fuck you. I'm not old, goddamn it.

So yeah. I'd say they spent so much time building fusions that they had to cut back their other stuff too much, and the game really suffers for it. But what can you do? Maybe 3 will be better.

the problem with MUA2 was that they decided to go for the civil war. which was a good idea. till they ruined that too. the civil war didnt really have a whole bunch of characters that u could play as in both scenarios without the game becoming complicated. I think that if theres a MUA3 they should move back to game world territory lke the first. that way loads of game characters can appear as well as the game being overall more fun to play.

Yeah well my xbox RRODed just as I got a chance to play it after an exam, so yeah I'm angry.

But yeah I bought the DLC solely for Cable and as a character he's fun to play, even when he spouts cheesy lines like "That's what I call basic...CABLE!".

You could probably write a book about all the bad design decisions in MUA2. I honestly enjoyed the first game and the Legends series from the last gen that these were based off of were among my favorite games for the XboX. But each game they dumb them down more and more. I like being able to micromanage my team and the gear each character gets. But they allow me less and less customization in each new iteration. By MUA3 I'm expecting I won't have to actually fight the bad guys at all. I'll just hit the "A" button when I want the particle effect engine to vomit in my eyes.
