So, if people have been following, Capcom has been updated and releasing info on its upcoming sequel to one of the best selling fighting games of all time with Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds. So this week, along with the announcement of 2 new characters to the roster with She-Hulk on the Marvel side, and Zero on the Capcom side, they have decided to finally reveal the release date along with some other info.
As of now, the release date for Marvel vs Capcom 3 is February 15th, 2011 for the US and February 18th, 2011 for EU.
As well as that we have 2 more announcements, 2 DLC characters and the Special Edition.

For the DLC characters, Jill Valentine of Resident Evil will be returning to the cast, only now as her RE5 incarnation (no info on her moveset as of yet, no one knows if it will stay the same or be some new variant).
Also returning is Shuma-Gorath of the Doctor Strange comics, bringing back his inter-dimensional evil, magic, and slimy tentacle combat to the game (Shuma-Gorath should be returning with his previous moveset, with a few possible new tweaks).
Both characters will be available to the game come March as DLC, but for the people who purchase the Special Edition of the game, they will recieve both characters 4 weeks before their intended launch to play with as they will.
Now for the Special Edition of the game...
It will end up including:
- A steelbook case, using exclusive artwork of the game
- A 12 page prologue comic written by Marvel writer Frank Tieri(also writer of the game's story) + an artbook with fan art of the game
- 1 month subscription to Marvel Digital Comics
- The 2 DLC character previously mentioned, Jill and Shuma-Gorath, which will be available 4 weeks before their intended DLC release
Also released, were some pre-concepts for the PS3 and Xbox360 covers...
