I really enjoyed playing the arcade version of MvC2 so I am considering getting this game.
Can anyone tell me if a fighting game is really worth the $60?
What content will keep me playing this game for hours beyond that of buttonmashing?
I seriously appreciate any advice!
Most fighting games are worth the 60$, mainly due to their replayability. MvC2 has been played nonstop for the past 10 years now, and Capcom has been trying to make it so that this game will last just as long.
So for from what I heard, there's going to be the Arcade/Story mode, done by an actual Marvel comic writer, as well as each character getting their seperate story. On top of that you have the online mode, which will be where most people will be spending their time fighting against other people across the country/world/etc., as well as having a training mode(like most fighting games have), a challenge mode(from what I heard, don't take my word for it), as well as a Shadow Mode which will be like a Ghost mode where you fight teams and playstyles chosen by the creators of the game, and such, and then your regular Versus mode for fighting CPUs or other people.
