Seeing as how I only own Nintendo consoles and a gaming PC, it would makes sense that I really haven't gotten into this series. But even if I did have a PS3 or an Xbox, I probably would still be skeptical because the idea of Marvel Vs. Capcom sounds rather confusing. Why are those of the Marvel Universe fighting Capcom? That seems like a rather arbitrary crossover. It'd be like if I had the Ninja Turtles Cross-over with Dr. Who, just to make people ask what the fuck is going on.

This game looks good, fun, and (from what I've seen) it looks somewhat popular. But isn't anyone else out there in agreement that this crossover seems bizarre? Why don't we have a crossover worth mentioning like a Marvel vs. DC game? You know, something that makes a little more sense. Capcom vs. Valve? (yeah, MvsDC is probably better).

A spiritual successor of MvC2 and the game upon which MvC3's system was based actually is on the Wii (only on the Wii), it's called Tatsunoko vs Capcom (TvC), give it a go.

It's fun, but story mode is a huge disappointent.
only 7 battles, there's hardly any plot, online lags like crazy, the camera angles panning up when you're in the air is downright goddamn annoying especially when someone's using a tag attack on you and you're on the ground, and can't see who is attacking you (very common).

I'd prefer if the camera panned out, rather than up -.-
Also, online is kind of crap, because all the people in the US have had the game ages so I can't win any of the fights yet :(

It's fun, but not as good as I hoped it would be.

I've heard that one was really good, and I'm trying so hard to get a copy.
Does it have the annoying camera pan up when you or your opponent is in the air?
That really makes it difficult for me to play.

It's "arcade" not story mode lol. The game is an arcade experience with online in place of an arcade community, if you don't expect blazblue levels of other cool stuff in it and take it for what it actually is it rocks.

Oh and US only got the game on Tuesday, that's 4-5 days ago on the earliest. That's hardly "ages" lmao.

Yeah, comes with the territory of games where chars jump and blast all over the place.
