I don't think that Marvel has a Superman analogue, at least not in terms of a character who has the really interesting role that Superman plays. It kind of seems like in the Marvel universe the people who are in charge are still more human than meta-human. Think Nick Fury heading up the avengers. I don't read quite enough Marvel to know if he has any other powers beyond being a plain old bad ass, but if he does they're not significant. Nonetheless, he's probably the closest thing that Marvel has to some sort of central leader type character for the universe as a whole.
In DC on the other hand, it isn't the humans who are in charge at all. The Justice League operates of its own accord, and while there are some lesser teams (Like Justice League International) which are under human control, the fact of the matter is that it's just an assembly of the most powerful benevolent forces on the planet. And Superman wasn't elected through meritocracy. Arguably he's not even the strongest (in terms of raw power) character in the DCU, that would probably be Captain Atom. He's just the guy who's always been a strong leader with a powerful moral compass. I don't think Marvel has a character like that.
I would also argue with the premise that Aquaman is the most hated character, at least amongst the DC fanbase. Characters who are genuinely hated don't tend to stay in print for decades. Most of the people who think Aquaman is stupid haven't even bothered to read a comic that he appears in. I think it would be extremely difficult to read Brightest Day, or the current run of Aquaman (which is being written by Jeoff Johns, the guy who brought Hal back, introduced the other Lantern Corps, wrote Blackest Night and Brightest Day, and headed up Flashpoint) and not realize just how interesting a character Aquaman actually is. The most hated DC character would probably be someone like Kyle Rayner (the lantern who took over after Hal went crazy and died).
As for who Marvel's most hated character is, I'm afraid I don't know on that one.
