Hello, all. Quick question. Is it at all possible to delete career completion saves? For reference, I have the PC version through Steam.

And I'm taking about the saves you can choose when starting a new game or import, not manual saves.

Any help would be nice.

Sorry to bump, but I do need the help, and I've already done a google search. All that comes up is advice for the 360.

Sorry to disappoint, but to my knowledge there is no method of deleting completed careers without removing the entirety of Mass Effect from your HDD. This also means that all your other careers will be gone as well.

I could be wrong though.

Well, I kind of anticipated that. I have it through Steam, so if I delete it, I can just reinstall it. But what happens with the DLC, is my main worry. I haven't figured out how to redownload purchased items from Origin yet (that's how I had to get Pinnacle Station).

Well, tried uninstall/reinstall. Career save is still there. On the plus side, so is my DLC.

Now what?

Go to the Bioware folder in your Documents folder and delete the saves you want, that might work.

Why do you want to delete the saves anyway?

Go to Documents>Bioware>Mass Effect>Save (assuming you're running Windows 7; it may not be the exact same path if you're running XP or Vista), and delete the saves that correspond to the name of your in-game profile (the name of your Shepard).

My question is, why would want to do this, when you can either start a new game using the same profile, or create a new profile altogether? I'm confused.

I don't plan on importing that career save, and OCD will drive me bonkers if it's just sitting there.

Does that work if I have it through Steam?
