I'd go with the Widow, but then again I play an Infiltrator and the auto slow-motion you get when sniping is awesome. Although Soldier does get something similar in power form.

I got the assault rifle. My sniper rifle was way better then the Widow, especialy since Legion has it anyway.
Legion does 45% less damage than Shepard with the Widow.

On Topic: Yeah, take the Widow. Best sniper rifle in the game. Good for popping heads of things like Husks and other close-quarter enemies like Pyros.

Of course, I can't exactly judge, having a) never used the Revenant or Claymore, and b) not yet finished Mass Effect 2 for the first time. I'm biding my time, getting mentally prepared for what lies beyond the relay. Of course, having said that, I have no idea whatsoever what happens after going through the relay. Don't spoil it for me.

Well, Heightened Adrenaline Rush gives you a +140% damage boost.
Just saying .. it's somewhat more powerful than Assassination Cloak.

Infiltrator is my favourite class, btw ... I uploaded an infiltrator insanity run to youtube and everything.
Oh is that so? I thought it was just a time slow. Well then forget what I said, it's even BETTER for a soldier! I still like the cloak though. It's so nice not being shot at while aiming. Reeeeeaally makes it easier.

Neat about your insanity run. I may have to check that out later and pick some tips up from it for when I try. Infiltrator is my best class. My favorite class is Vanguard though. Because there is nothing more fun in that game for me than Charge.

Sorry about the videos being split up into parts .. I had a video length limit on my youtube account at the time .. :(
I'm seriously considering reuploading those videos (assuming I can find even find the original footage).

I would also like to claim that it was a zero-death run, which I was trying to do, but Shep fell 4 times.
But then, on my normal zero death runs, I skip a few difficult missions (such as Tali's recruitment).
