Mass Effect 2 choices in Mass Effect 3

So at the end of Mass Effect 2, I made the stupid, stupid choice to not blow up the Collector base. Now I've read this: http://www.videogamer.com/xbox360/mass_effect_3/news/mass_effect_3_a_lot_more_punishing_than_mass_effect_2.html


Note one of the enemy types is "Cerberus Trooper". Now I think I should start another game (I never played the 1st) and make the proper choice. What are your thoughts?

Doesn't matter, Cerberus will be after you whether you blow up the base or don't. As for the news, I say good. Choices form Mass Effect 1 to 2 barely effected anything. Mainly just how many emails you got.

Hopefully this time it'll actually effect how the story plays out.

Live with your choises, same as in life, you never know the full ramifications of a choice you make.

It's also why multiple play throughs are good, that way you can see all the outcomes and determine the best ones.

This info has been floating around for quite some time you know. I am going through mass effect 2 for a second time and I still plan on leaving the base intact. Just as a thank you for helping me pull a jesus.

i like explosions so i blew the base to smitherines, also i didnt like how the illusive man always fucked me over so i was more than happy to throw a spanner in his elaborat "plan" to save humanity(AKA create a reaper to fight the reapers, i can see how that would work out) so i can see some of my choices makinfg life difficult for good ol' sheppard

Live with your choises, same as in life, you never know the full ramifications of a choice you make.

I lived by this for my whole mass effect play experience.....until in the suicide mission the fact that Miranda wasn't "loyal" due to a hissy fit with Jack and the fact that she practically DEMANDED to be fire team leader got Legion killed. THAT I could not take.

Aside from that, I will live with all the stupid choices I made. And boy have I made a few.
