I love the Mass Effect DLC. Bring Down the Sky, Overlord and Lair of the Shadow Broker are all great additions to both games.
One thing that was said about Mass Effect 2 was that the DLC was to bridge the gap between ME2 and ME3. This was intended as a way of saying "new content to tide you over till the next game".
But what if the DLC actually bridged the story between the two? Why not make the Overlord and Shadow Broker DLCs occur only after you've finished the main story? They give you the option of staying on the Normandy and completing unfinished assignments, so adding post story DLC would give them a great incentive to stick around.
