I bought both mass effect games and installed them. While I could play and complete mass effect 1 with no problem with Mass effect 2 whenever I run it, the screen gives the message "VGA mode not support" and it doesn't go away. From the sounds it makes the rest of the game loads to the start screen where I can't fo anything as I can't see anything.

So how do I fix this? I assumed that by having the requirements for ME1 I'd defintely be able to run the sequel but obviously that isn't the case.

VGA is the blue cable port that does Monitor output. Another mode of this requires an adapter and different output called EVGA.

When I go into my ME2 folder the branches go

Mass Effect 2---> Binaries-->"This folder is empty"

->BIOGame--> Configs->Gamersettings

In Gamersettings the only lines are:

[AppCompat]
MeasuredCPUScore=*
CompatLevelComposite=
CompatLevelCPU=
CompatLevelGPU=
GPUVendorID=
GPUDeviceID=
CPUNumLogicalProcessors=

[WinDrv.Accessibility]
StickyKeysHotkey=True
ToggleKeysHotkey=True
FilterKeysHotkey=True
StickyKeysConfirmation=True
ToggleKeysConfirmation=True
FilterKeysConfirmation=True

*There are numbers after the equals signs, are the values important?

All other paths to other folders resulted in "this folder is empty"

From looking at it I'm not sure why it's so empty and the lines above don't seem like they're the ones im looking for. My Mass effect 1 folder on the other hand has a lot more stuff even when disregarding saves and other things gained from actually playing the game.
