Mass Effect 2-Kasumi

I searched the forums for this but I couldn't find anything, if I was wrong I'm sorry just post a link for me.

Anyway though I heard about a DLC character for Mass Effect 2 that came after Zaeed. Her name is Kasumi she's human and she is very similar to Legion in terms of abilities. Here's the link:

This seems legitiment to me but I may be wrong so what are your thoughts on this?

I hope this is fake. I dislike the character based on what I've seen. Bioware is good at making characters, and in Mass Effect 2 even my least favourite party member - Jack, was actually quite a good character. I hope they don't drop the ball on this one.

Seems legitimate, we knew that the spot next to Jack was going to be filled. I think I heard about her in game, during one of the news reports. If I recall she's an assassin, or a bounty hunter, but then again who isn't in sci-fi?

True or not, I hope if they include any more party members that the normal interaction is used rather than what they did with Zaeed.

Perhaps they'll keep cranking out more DLC until we have 67 companions and 9 decks of the Normandy. Or maybe keep the existing numbers of decks of the Normandy but stick the companions in the vents or duct tape them to the walls and ceiling.

AI hacking is pretty pointless when you only fight geth on 2 missions, one of which being a loyalty mission.

I looked up a little more on her and I think she is legitiment. She seems to be an assassin of sorts with an odd obsession for light and ramen. I'm a little concerned about this too this is the third combat and tech squad member and she's an assassin like Thane. Bioware doesn't do bad characters but this seems to be scraping the bottom of the barrel.

AI hacking is pretty pointless when you only fight geth on 2 missions, one of which being a loyalty mission.

You fight mechs pretty regularly, however.

I'll save any judgement about character depth after interacting with the character for awhile. Characters that people complained about being one dimensional from the trailers fleshed out after a while. As for skill set, really any new character is bound to step on toes. 13 characters while mixing only 3 archetypes.

yeah... but this one step on toes of not one but 2 characters who pretty much have the same set of skill with the exception of theyr loyalty skill... wich both suck any way

This is a good point but with only one Sentinal and one Adept there was definatly other areas for her to fill. As for being shallow I'm basing this mostly on not being able to talk to Zaeed but I agree most of the one dimensional trailer characters did flesh out.

But we already have two characters that everyone Loves with a passion! Every loves Legion and Tali so who's going to set aside one of them for Kasumi? Really? Really?

Pretty sure this is real. We know she won't be available for awhile though considering the next batch of DLC comes out tomorrow.
