Been waiting for this for a while as I'm in the odd position where I love ME story, but couldn't stand the mechanics in ME1 but loved the mechanics in ME2. But I'm pissed that they're charging for it, I hate that EA has their hands on this, their greedy little ******* that do nothing but ****-** any title they get a hold of for a few quick bucks. This comic is free on PSN, and if you have the Cereberus network card with PS3 then the two major cost DLC are free too. This is a rip-off. It's pretty bad, I don't pirate games, I respect the developers too much for that, but this BS makes me seriously consider it.

They are charging for it?
Given how long the game has been out they really should give this away, especially since it's just part of the PS3 version.
Can't really fault them for charging though, but I do fault them for that price.

It only lets you make the big decisions but won't let you get important things like the geth data for Tali's pilgrimage etc.

Hmm cool, I might get this even though I have ME, seems a like a faster way to get ready for ME3.
True. Maybe now I won't have to play through Mass Effect about 6 or 8 more times so my new Characters can be leveled up enough to get bonuses.

Thank. The. Gods.

I was just replaying ME1 and got to an impassable valley of rocks in the mako. I shut it off because I hattttttteeeeee that thing.

This will make replaying much much easier.

Paying for the convenience of not having to replay a great game? Eh...I think I'll pass on this one. When I first saw it had a price tag I wondered why that was, but then I remembered it's EA, who are probably a little bitter about being out-profiteered by Activision in recent years.

Good lord. It's bad enough that Genesis (which completely massacres the brilliant plot of the original game) even exists in the first place, but they're actually CHARGING MONEY for it?!

What happened to you, BioWare?
EA!

I've never complained about content costing money before (overpriced yes, but not argued that something should be free), but this is rediculous. I've completed stacks of playthroughs on both ME games so I don't "need" it anyway, but come on xbox fans have supported this series the longest and spent the most money on it. And lets not forget the "Cerberus Network" which was meant to be a "delivery system" for precisely this type of content.

Obviously I'm a huge fan of the series and will buy Mass Effect 3 regardless of what they do, but this type of thing creates yet more bad PR for Bioware, which they really don't need right now - and for what? A few purchases of this dlc, most of which will probably be blind-buys leading to disappointment. It's not the right way to treat their fanbase and that's bad for business. It really doesn't inspire confidence in how they're going to handle ME3.

Thank goodness for the comment threads here. Until I read some of this, I was seriously considering buying it in spite of desperately trying to break free of Bioware's little clutches. You guys have steeled me. Thanks.

This really should have been free if you ask me.
^This.

Granted, I already have ME1 for my 360, but this is a bit of a better alternative if I ever want to do a playthrough that's different from my ME1 Shep. Seeing as my 360's memory is almost all used up, this would be a better alternative to do than to play through ME1 again. But then again, I do have problems w/ the comic anyway.
