Now Now... Before you all raise your pitchforks and dismiss this as another "MGS4 on 360" style rumour mongrel, look below.

Anyone who cared about this game has already bought and played it, although its good to see more multi platformers, now all we need is alan wake to wake up and come to PC.

EDIT:I just realised that cover art does not look good as a square i mean it was shit to start off with but their is somthin' about it that makes it look strange.

I'll buy it if the bonus content is not the dlc that's out for the 360 version

Good for those who haven't had the chance to play it yet I suppose? Also, where's Calumon? Makes me sad-face without the extra commentary. lol

Hopefully the PS3 version has some way to import ME1 saves from that Mass Effect saves site. Or have ME1 released on the PS3 as well.

Because the default Mass Effect 2 save sucks ass.

Was ME2 that big of a deal that it really needed to go multiplatform?
Yeah, Dragon Age blew Mass Effect out of the water, sales-wise, largely due to the game being released on the 360 and PS3. Who knows how Mass Effect will do when it becomes available on mutliple consoles?

Yes, this was most certainly a crazy rumour the day before yesterday when it wasn't announced yet.

My concern is only for the future fans of ME2 on the PS3. When they want to play the original Mass Effect to have a better story imported into ME2, they're out of luck.

There is this thing called the Search Bar, we've had this thread many times, and there is even an Escapist News story on it.

It's true that Mass Effect 2 is an extraodinary game, but only if you import your save game from the original Mass Effect. Without any save games, you start off Mass Effect 2 with the Citadel destroy and Udina as ambassador. I hope the PS3 gets Mass Effect 1 as well, but that is unlikely because, as someone had already said, Microsoft owns the rights to it.

Anyway, just enjoy the game PS3 users! It's a great game, save game or no.

Why? PS3 owners now get the shitty "You kind of failed the first game" set-up then. Udina is the most powerful man in the Galaxy, the Council thinks you're a terrorist, Anderson is powerless, and Wrex is dead.

Just seems kind of disconnected for BioWare to do that. I can understand they'll make money on it, but starting in the middle of a trilogy that changes based on your actions?

Unless the "bonus content" includes a save tailor for ME1, which actually isn't a bad idea seeing as it's unfair to PS3 owners otherwise.

About time im not a PS3 owner myself but am just sick and tired of all these exclusives when will they realise they can just make one ultimate platform together and steal our cash together ...oh well one can dream (not for the cash stealing mind lol)
