Seeing as I haven't had access to Xbox Live seeing as its setup is unintuitive as all hell in comparison to setting up PSN, I've had to come to terms with the fact that I'm going to have to get Mass Effect 2 all over again if I want the full experience of the series. At least I can take solace in moving to my preferred system with my preferred controller.

I've heard some less than encouraging things about the game's performance, though. Have any of you owners of the PS3 Mass Effect 2 had too many technical problems with it? Has there been a patch released for it?

Much obliged, y'all.

That's only with the dlc overlord, either than that I'd say it runs better than on the 360 thanks to the ME3 engine.

They just sorta messed up on Overlord, and that's only with a few texture popping issues, and some screen tearing.

I own both the 360 and the PS3 versions. 360 version is better IF you import a saved game from Mass Effect. That is not to say that the PS3 version is bad. I had no problems with it from beginning to end on two separate playthroughs. You'll be fine as far as I can tell.
