So, I visited two posts today, one said that Mass Effect 2 will be 'multi-platform', cite source http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.86616#1286315

The next said that Deadspace will be on the Wii. Well, I lost the Deadspac thread, but check this out, this is the source cited for it: http://blog.wired.com/games/2009/02/ea-ups-commitme.html

So, how do I make 4 from the addition of these components? Note this sentence from the Deadspace article:

On the call, CEO John Riccitiello said that EA would seek to produce games that rivaled Nintendo's in quality, from casual experiences like a new tennis franchise to core games like Dead Space, which the company released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 last year.
So, does this mean that Mass Effect 2 will be on the Wii? Sounds to me like EA is determined to get in on the Wii craze pretty hard, and I fear the annihilation of my beloved games on other consoles... Though I'll get them for the 360, of course.

Thoughts?

First, wrong forum. Second, with all the hype around the second game using saved data from the first, I highly doubt that even EA would make such a stupid decision as to release the second game on a system that didn't have the first.

Last I checked Mass Effect 2 was confirmed for the Xbox 360 and the PC only. It isn't going to be on the PS3 because at this point the original wasn't on it. The same explanation goes for the Wii with the added excuse that the game would have to get both a content and graphics downgrade to even coming close to working on it.
