Mass effect 2 preorder bonus crap

So I preorder the collecter's edition of ME2 for the 360 (the system people use to get away from the bullshit)but when I try to play it I need to use my ONE USE ONLY cerberus card. I download the cerberus downloads but the promo gear is nowhere to be found. I check the back of the card and it says to sign up to Masseffect.com then use the code. I do but it just logs me out. After several tries I go to EA support where the hot topic is other people with the same problem. Apparently my EA account needs to be synched with the bioware account to download anything but when I go to my account my gamertag isn't there. I try to add the tag but it says "sorry, that gamertag is already taken." I know what email I used because my ea account was created when I first played dragon age yet EA has manged to throw my gamertag out the window so I can't download what I paid for.

Since all of this preorder crap along with the cerberus card is ONE USE ONLY, can I even take this shit back for a full refund and just save some money buying the normal version? There are several topics on this at EA forums and I'm waiting for an email reply but I'm wondering if any of you have had similar problems and how you solved them. Also phoning EA costs $2.50 per minute so that aint gonna happen.

I logged into the Cerberus network and then downloaded the armor and it worked fine, I don't know what to tell you.

it told me that I needed to create an EA account to work. Fuck that. I go without that dumbass mercenary and gun armour stuff.

Yea, the issue is that EA automatically creates an account for you using the email and password tied to your gamertag when you start your first EA game on your 360.

I'd like to help you more, but I already gave away all my extra codes, sorry.

I still have the codes and I work at eb so I can get more easily, the touble is having to jump through hoops for gear that I payed extra to get. I mean if the cerberus network is so secure why didn't the collecter armour pop up in there?
