I just finished ME2 for the first time and quickly became distraught when both Legion AND Grunt were killed. Is there any choice I can make at the end that won't result in the deaths of my team?

Send Legion to hack the door, and nothing else. Grunt died on me, so no clue there

make sure everyone is loyal. if someone isn't loyal, make sure they aren't in charge of anything. fully upgrade ship armor/gun. have tali open door/do vents. have jacob/miranda/garrus lead the squads both times. have samara use biotic shield. have any loyal member escort the team back, preferably mordin because he has the bad habit of dying for what seems to be no reason after boss fights. This should make a no-death run. There are others ways to do it, but this works
