That actually makes a lot of sense, but we still don't know that he wants to negotiate or even that he doesn't want to kill you. It just means that he doesn't want to kill you right away.VioletZer0 said:

I think they tried to avoid people that are potentially dead from ME1, there fore Kaiden, Ashley, and Wrex are out, and Liara was only in your squad as part of your mission, picked up by you, unlike the others, who willingly joined. However, I'd still like to see Ashley, Kaiden and Wrex in ME2 if they didn't die. Prove that it's reading my save file.

Well, of course i - as always - want a Lombax teammate! Everything is better with Lombaxes.
But it's just not gonna happen. For hundreds upon hundreds of reasons. So i'll go with something much more reasonable. That "something" being some new guy who is not a morally questionable psychotic badass who will do anything to get the job done. Or at least a friendly morally questionable psychotic badass who will do anything to get the job done (i.e. Chaotic Good in alignment).
And by the way.

He Goes back to the Krogan Homeworld and unites the Krogan people under Clan Urdnot. However, if Wrex *DIED*, then expect to be met with a rain of bullets when you go there instead of praise.
As for your other characters that wont be returning, I really wonder what will become of them, and why they wouldn't be able to rejoin shepard. I strongly believe any of them *WOULD* if given the opportunity. So something is going on there, in my opinion.

I admit, when I first started using Garrus on my first playthrough, I was unable to get him any new armors till the icy research planet (totally forget the name...) where he promptly died lots of times because of his starting armors MASS INFERIORITY, lol. lol. After that however, on my other playthroughs, I realized just how AWESOME he is, especially once he gets good armor. Garrus is amongst the most Badass people in that game, along with Wrex, Captain Anderson, and of course, The good Shep' himself.

Well I for one got very happy when I found out Tali retured as a squadmate in ME2.
I sure hope the rumors of a Quarian romance option is true, Tali is by far my favorite character. I've never liked Liara tho, I've always found her annoying. I could live with Kaidan/Ashley (depending on who you sacrificed in the first game) returning. But I'd prefer seeing Legion as a squadmate, especially if he is anything like HK-47.

The good folks at BioWare have said that because it's possible...even *expected*...for some/most/all of your squad to die in ME2, they've kept the love interests out of it, so they can live to be around for ME3.
I guess it's just up to your Shep to decide if the aformentioned love interest is worth one game of celibacy...heheheh
