Iwas a huge fan of the first one and really enjoyed it, and ive just seen the trailer for the 2nd game, and i was woundering what all of you think its going to be about and if it can live up to the 1st ones reputation

Okay, in reality, it involves Cerberus, the off-the-rails org from the first one becoming much more of a serious threat. Amazon let slip a little more recently, it showed in the news room articles. Also, Shepard is MIA at the opening of the setting, but will likely still be the protagonist. Non-antagonistic Geth are also a possibility, as the retain individual free will (despite hive-related sapience level, no hive mind) and had a burgeoning religion shattered in pieces over Citadel station.

As it's the first BioWare game to get a BioWare sequel, I am FILLED with hope. I do believe the writers have planned their story arcs to cover all three games, so it's not like coming in after a game is successful and trying to figure out how to make more money on some thinly-copied content. Whatever happened in ME will affect what you do in ME2 and so on.
