I just watched a video showing people playing it using Kinect. It seemed to be more about selling the Kinect as every agreed "ME3 is better with Kinect"....also there is a demo out in 14th Feb to download.

Now most of the video was shouting commands and didnt use the movement aspect of it. But how can shouting commands be better? For instance, shouting "frag grenade" to throw a grenade takes longer to do than pressing RB. Same with "examine" and using your powers or saying "shotgun" to change to that weapon.

But, on the other hand, if you want to make a squad member use a a particular power or move to a particular area you point your reticule and shout either "James - Carnage" or "Liara Move". This sounds like you can make combat choices on the fly, but still doesnt feel as engaging or easier than by clicking a button. Especially as in the middle of combat where the voice thing may not work well or move them to a place your reticule is a millisecond after you say it.

So will you be using kinect to play it? Or will you just use a few of the commands and the rest using the pad? Or just the pad only?

(Maybe some one could post the vid as im having trouble)

Yeah, and this is why if i was going to buy ME3 i'd be buying it on PC. Lol Kinect.
LOL!

Funny pictures aside, you don't HAVE to play Mass Effect 3 with Kinect, but I have heard the PC's system is better (I play XBox, my dad, who is also a fan, plays PC so I get to check it out from time to time).

I think the Kinect function would be very slick and brilliant (if it works properly) during fights where you don't want to keep going into the radial menu, but using it for conversations and opening doors? It'd take me less effort to press a button than say "Open Door". So yes, I may just give it a go, but only use it for combat bits.

I already have one and two on PC so I'll stick with that since I'd very much like to import my saved games. A lack of a xbox helps too. I think the kinect adds a neat gimmick to ME3 but that's all it really is....a gimmick.

Horrible idea in my opinion. For the most part, using the damn controller is soooo much faster. Plus, yelling at your TV will get old so fast, esp. if you have other people living with you/people next door.

It also doesn't help that at the moment I sound like I have throat cancer. I also will never drop an extra $100+ dollars for a peripheral for a game I already dropped $80 for (got the N7 Edition, which has stuff I do want, which is far more than I can say about playing ME3 with the Kinect).

I think the Kinect looks amusing. Personally, I am not overly excited about voice control, as I can do everything I need to with a few hot key's assigned and, sometimes taking that extra couple seconds and having your power window open to pause the battle can make the fight much easier.

Still havnt found a reason to get Kinect yet.
