you know the drill by now with what I'm doing...

I've run into a bit of annoying problem. The game seems to sit on the main title screen forever loading "Checking For DLC" unless I disconnect from the internet.

I'm just wondering, is there a work around for this or shall I be forever minor inconvenienced whenever I boot the game?

I have. It just stays, I only waited like 20 minutes.

I can just unplug the internet, get to the load screen then plug it back in, but like I said, it's a 1st world pain. I'm wondering if theres an actual fix or if I just gotta deal.

That's a different one - I was actually a little surprised more people didn't complain that ME3 has defacto always-online DRM when it was first launched.

I haven't fired the game up for a while, but semi-regularly I'd run into a problem where, between dodgy Australian internet and EA's servers being down from time to time, the game couldn't authenticate all the DLC that was installed. It wouldn't hang for 20 minutes though - it'd just try for maybe two minutes max, and then if it couldn't get a connection it would tell you it was giving up... and that you could now play the game, but ALL the DLC would be disabled. I learned from Dragon Age: Origins what merry hell this could play with your save games so I've never tried to play the game in this state.

Does it let you play with DLC and everything if you just unplug the internet?

What system do you have it on? This is a issue EA and BioWare never fixed that can only be solved one of two ways on the consoles.

Forever, I have to log out of PSN every time to play ME3 and Mercenaries has a similar issue.

I only unplug to get past the stupid loading bit. Once I'm on the mainscreen I log in.

I've never tried playing disconnected. I'm on Xbox and since I pay for the service I feel like I'm throwing money away if I'm not logged it.
