Mass Effect 3 glitch

I got this glitch in Mass Effect 3 (on xbox 360) after downloading the new multiplayer update. Every time I start it up it gets stuck saying "checking for downloadable content". I tried uninstalling and re-installing all DLC to no avail. I would post this on the Mass Effect 3 tech support page but they won't let me post (I think it's because I'm using the xbox version).

I haven't beaten the game yet, and I'm thinking it would be kind of funny if this was my xbox's way of sparing me from seeing the terrible ending.

Any suggestions on what I should do?

I've had the very same issue, I disconnected my internet and turned online feedback 'on'. Got back online and it worked seamlessly.

Agreed, turn the feedback on, it's required for the update. Which is annoying, but required. Now that I think of it... that's probably why I never got my rewards for the last few weekends, because mine was off until this weekend.

Yeah, mine did something like that not with the DLC itself, but with the patch that came the day after the DLC. I got stuck at "Communicating with EA Servers..." So I restarted my XBox and tried again...same thing happened. Tried it a couple more times and it went through and I haven't had a problem since.

Though my game does still have a tendency to freeze during in-game loading screens, particularly when moving from one area of the Citadel to another. >.>
