Eh, don't care. Bioware would be stupid to let this interfere with the single player content, and I for one am forgoing the multiplayer component until after I've finished Mass Effect 3.

For a thread about ME3 going mobile I expected a hell of a lot more rage considering that the last thread about the new female character had people saying they wouldn't buy Mass Effect 3 because she was voiced by Jessica Chobot

I feel like the slow kid in the playground but... There's going to be a co-op component? That might be enough for me to finally play a Mass Effect game!

I've heard good things about the series, but I've never reached the level of excitement required to actually get a copy, sit down and play it. But if I've got the incentive of playing co-op with my boyfriend...

The game comes out in what... a month now? I just want the blasted thing to be released at this point, so we can end the speculation.

My thread sense is tingling!

"Ruined forever" in 3... 2...
I said ruined forever back in May. PETA should really do something about these cash-cows being milked to death.

Nifty. Now how about a tie-in that puts ME3 on Steam? :p
Thread winner so far. ;)

Nope, only multiplayer, even though people have wanted co-op since 1.

I didn't even want multiplayer in the first place so if this only affects the multiplayer mode, who the hell cares? Also I don't have a smartphone :p

Mass Effect Galaxy came out shortly before Mass Effect 2. I never played it and never heard anyone say much about it, but Mass Effect 2 was certainly still incredible.
As I said, really forgettable game. I don't have an iPhone, so I borrowed my sister's to play it. I think the whole game was about three hours long with really awkward controls and tiny eye-straining graphics. The writing was entertaining, and the artwork for the cutscenes was actually quite nice. It's pretty cheap, so if you're dying to pick it up, you'll only be out about a buck or so. Otherwise, you're probably better off replaying ME1 or 2.

I could say a lot of things but I think : brainless idiotic money grubbing pandering.
Seems to work the best.

Im more worried about the fact that in order to get a good ending without, once again, having to completely go renegade or paragon unless you use all this "Galaxy at War" bullshit.

Meh, I don't see a problem with this. The only "feature" that has me worried is the "I am too stupid to pick dialogue options" mode. Other than that I don't see how a mobile phone tie-in will hurt the game.

Now now this could be good, just like that Arkham City mobile game....oh wait that sucked, never mind. What you said works perfectly.

10 points to Griffindor sir. Well played.

On topic: blah blah blah more shit lumped on ME3 by EA. Still waiting for something to get me excited for this besides knowing how it ends (and scrip already showed me that: Lame).

"Only multiplayer"? No, she asked if there would be co-op, and yes, there is co-op. not sure what you're trying to say.

[edit] it is the case that co-op will be a separate mode from the single player campaign, but yes, it's still co-op.

As for this mobile tie in, anything that gets me more immersed in the universe sounds cool to me.

Maybe if you get every tie in ME3 thing and dlc you will unlock some cool hidden dlc like a tactical nuke frog or something. Maybe a solar flechette rabbit?

It is bad when I am burned out of the game and it has not come out yet.

But that will only start the flood of this game sucks/rocks threads...

Now now, this is just some talking head from EA who told the guys at BioWare that they need to make as much money as Call of Duty. I still have no idea if I'm going to buy this. Maybe used so EA doesn't get any money just in case it sucks.
