Sorry if late to the party but i didn't find anything in the forums from a search.

Anywho i know alot of us were saddened by Jack walls departure from the third game ( hopefully old scores are still used)

Clint Mansell coming on board not everyone one was thrilled with no offense to him. To chance what ain't broke just seemed illogical.

i did run across tonight that Sam Hulick. who has worked with Jack on the first 2 is indeed working on number 3. and has his name credited as solo composer or dual with the best music the mass effect verse has to offer.

So i for one will rest a little easier know that the music is in capable hands

I've heard some of the soundtrack for ME3.

Sadly, my knowledge of music is virtually zilch and I'm damn near tone deaf so I'm no judge of quality. All I can say is that it sounded fairly similar to ME2s stuff, perhaps a little less 'synth'-ish (yes, that's a word, shut up).

Everyone will get to hear it for themselves when the demo hits in a few days, anyway.

Oh won't these forums be a fun place then, eh?

The synthy-ness was the best thing about the two previous soundtracks! noooo!

I was worried that the Clint Mansell's music might be too out of place...and then I heard his "Escape from Earth" theme, and he knocked it out of the park.

You can find it here, but there are some spoilers in the video from the E3 2011 demonstration.
