I noticed the Escapist hasn't yet reported on this, so I'm bringing it your attention.
Anyway, for those who care, me being one of them, BioWare is releasing a patch today (PC) and tomorrow (consoles) that will fix the Shepard face import bug and other issues. I've patiently been paying attention to this issue hoping it would be fixed. Better late than never, I say.

I certainly will be. In fact, I'm just about to finish Mass Effect 2 today, so the timing couldn't be better.
