Mass Effect 3 Teaser Trailer Voice Actor

Can't actually help with who it is at all, but I would like to throw some wild speculation.

I know it's a premature guess, but I reckon if your Shepherd dies, this could be the guy you play, and you have to have a bit more of a structured story line. That would be cool because this guy seems bad-ass.
I also love how they have managed to make him look like a 'stereotypical hard Londoner' guy.

Nope. If you only have a save where your Shepard has died, that save just won't be available to you in Mass Effect 3. You'll have to start a new game in #3 and go through character creation.

Not to mention the fact that he mentions Shepard getting there before it is too late........

When I watched for the first time I thougth it's Sam Worthington.

Isn't he Australian (which is why the American protagonist in Blops drops from American to Australian at very random intervals)?

OT: Sean Bean or Richard Armitage, leaning towards the latter.

He sounds exactly the same as Martin from Oblivion. Exactly.

Technically he is English, he was born in Surrey, but was moved to Australia when he was a very young baby, so most likely sees himself as Australian.
His accent is certainly Aussie and I don't really get the connection between him and the voice in the trailer.
The voice does share a real similarity to Armitage though.
I think it would be coolest (thought I have stated it is highly unlikely) if it were Statham, BioWare certainly 'stole', his nose and other features in that trailer ;-)

The voice *does* share some similarity imo, he is an actor and they are called upon to alter they way they speak as part of their job, the only reason I think it can't be him is that it would be pretty cool! If you watch him in interviews rather than movie clips the voice has the same gruff, sexy quality *personal opinion* ;-)

True, but Jason Statham isn't exactly the most diverse actor in the world - and I can't really see him altering his voice from a London accent to a slightly-different-part-of-London accent.

I think it sounds closest to Richard Armitage, but I can tell it's not him either. I'm sure I recognise the voice from something else.

No argument from me there, although that might make him pretty good for the role.... I think this issue is going to drive us all to distraction EVERYONE wants to know who it is. It is very close to Richard's voice, but again there is something slightly 'off', with it, ah well, fullness of time and all that, lol!

Curses, although, that makes more sense. Even though you could just recreate your Shep, and pretend that they brought him back from the dead again.

It does sound a little like Richard Armitage but he's not from London, he's from the East Midlands and infact the same village as where I grew up in Leicester. I think it sounds a lot more like Simon Pegg, if you listen to his voice when he's serious there is definately a resemblance.

Bioware are notorious for using the likeness of someone and the voice of someone else, except in Miranda's case; she's Yvonne Strahovski with a dye job.
He looks a LOT like Jason Statham but it definately isn't his voice.

That guy who plays Ghost (posted earlier in this thread) is a definite possibility IMO. It does sound a lot like him. It also sounds quite a lot like Jason Statham, but I'd be surprised if it was him.

It's not remotely like Sean Bean. Sean Bean is from Sheffield. That is NOT a Sheffield accent.

The actor in the trailer sounded just like Simon Pegg. So much so that Simon Pegg specifically tweeted that it wasn't him.
