Just finished mass effect 3, Fantastic game, really loved it, could easily be my favorite game ever.
Over the last few days I played through both the first and second games, trying to get the perfect save for my final playthrough. I did really well, all my crew mates survived Me2, and i establised great relationships with every race in both games.
playing through mass effect 3 I got over 5000 war assets. Scanned half of the planets in the galaxy, and played the final mission. Only to be encountered with the worst endings possible.
Now I know it's 'possible' to get enough war assets to get the best endings without multiplayer. But after hours of play, working my backside of. I just can't see how i could get those extra 5000 war assets needed.
It's really frustrating because it's impossible for me to play the multiplayer (University has stupid internet system) so that path is blocked. I worked it out, and I would only have needed about 10 games of multiplayer to get the best ending.
So whats everyones opinion on this? I feel like I'm being punished for not playing the multiplayer. I'm sure guys will come out with examples of their perfect endings without It, but I really cannot think of how I could get that ending without replaying the first 2 games even better than I already did (and I wouldn't know how to do that)
Maybe i just needed to have bought all of the dlc for all of the games.
