"I'll remind you not to go killing my crew, Brand, even if they're turian like me," Recarius stated off-handedly as he saw his crewmember get to his feet at the other end of the ring. He had noticed the krogan's raised boot, ready to step down and crack his opponent's skull open. "I can't exactly afford to lose any of my crew; everyone has their role." The trainer had recovered from being grabbed by the neck, and seeing that the fight was over, he stepped down from the arena and made for the showers, leaving the Spectre and the krogan alone for the moment.
"We have our heading, if you're interested: borders of the Terminus and Traverse," Recarius added. "We'll have to go planetside a few times to check whether any of my missing fellows have been around recently, so there'll be plenty of opportunities to stretch legs and maybe get some killing done." He knew how krogan were about getting opportunities to fight.

A deck below, down in engineering, Jira was taking a small break from her duties to talk with Kel a little more, and give him a little more technical version of the tour; there had only been a quick trip through engineering. It was nice to have another quarian on the ship; just having Kel around reminded her of her home ship, the Chatani. Granted, there was a lot more space to go around on the Steadfast, but it still counted.
Jira liked hanging around down on the engineering deck; she was free to make small adjustments like the three salarians down here, tinkering with performance to see the ship's reactions. The quarian wasn't exactly proficient in the field of starship engines and their capacities: repair was her preference. As such, she only made small tweaks that were easily undone, and often asked one of the others what would happen if she did something.
"So, Kel, how do you like the Steadfast? Granted, it's different from any ship back on the Fleet, but you'll get used to it in time," she said brightly. "Have you been on many ships while on your Pilgrimage?"
