Are the graphics of Dragon Age about the same as Mass Effect on the PC? My computer runs ME without a hitch. The Dragon Age 2 demo doesn't work well, but neither did the Mass Effect 2 demo.
I have an intergrated video card, so my computer simply flat out refuses to play some games.

It is slightly above ME1. Hint, to maximize game performance, uncheck the optional boxes under the graphics menu. It helps a LOT.

Another warning: the game has a memory leak that Bioware was too goddamn lazy to fix, so prolonged game time will suck up your memory, overheat your computer and crash the game. So save a lot.

I'm doubtful it will run on an integrated card. Any time there's a lot going on (like, say, more than a few enemies) I'd expect it to move too slowly for you to actually play it.

Does it use the same system as Mass Effect?
ME2 and DA2's demos worked, I could attack without lag, it just looked like shit.

this

no offense OP but integrated cards run like complete shit when it comes to games and rendering, so if you can at all get a cheap graphics card (suggest a hd radeon 5770 for 100 bucks)

@ gmaverick019 - No offense taken. It does run like complete shit with most graphically demanding games. Luckily most of those I can get on PS3, and all the others, save probably Crysis, work well enough to play.
My technological know-how with computers is more virtual, and not physical. Is there a way to remove the integrated card, and replace it with a radeon? My assumption was that 'integrated' meant that it was integrated with the motherboard? I BELIEVE that is what the graphics card on my laptop (HD G62 Notebook PC) is. It's an Intel(R) HD Graphics card. It's powerful enough to run Mass Effect at the highest setting, and F.E.A.R. 2 to the second highest setting, and DNF (for the 3 minutes I played the demo, that is) but not powerful enough to run The Ball, if that is any way of judging performance.
Not a big deal if it's stuck there. Half Lifes (Lives?), Mass Effects, Super Meat Boy, Hitman, Team Fortress 2, and STALKER CoP and BS (just barely) work, and if push comes to shove, I can pick of DA for PS3. That's good enough for me! ^.^

I'd recommend getting it on PS3 especially if you only have an integrated card. as for the above post you can just chuck a new graphics card in. my comp still has its integrated MB graphics card and I'm using one that's GB.
