It has 2 options:
1) Be a by-the-book tie-in, which everybody will forget over time.

2) Take the series where it never went by playing around and anime-fying ME:
Shepard's harem
Gundam YMIR
Calling your attacks "WARUPO FIEDU!" and "ARENARINU RASHU!"
Fanservice
Moe Legion
And etc.

The first one is a lot more possible but way less fun.

Personnally, I like the game. However converting it into anime... Not so much.

They should use cell-shaded anime style art for Mass Effect 3 just for the lulz generated from a million ME fans freaking out at once

Not enough info to tell how good it'll be, but the very concept of Mass Effect just seems like a good fit for an anime.

Though if they just retell the games it'll probably be... Not exactly bad but somewhere between mediocre and kinda good

Now if you'll excuse me i'm off to fantasize over think about how they'll draw Tali...

If so, it should be done up like Halo Legends and allow multiple animators a shot at the franchise. That way we get our mushy, our serious, our funny, and down right stupid all rolled into one package

I've never actually watched an anime. I tend to not watch cartoons at all (I'll watch Futurama if a roommate is. That's about it), preferring heavily serialized live-action shows. This seems odd to me. But then, given what I just said, what the hell do I know?

Only if they hired Hideo Kojima to manage the project would ME3 pull as ballsy a troll as that.
