So when I was running though around MS2. then Something jumped in my head.

When it came around to Grunts mission and his charters development with Shepard goiog through. well, Is Shepards and Grunts development more parent to child( kid to tre-teenager)? iI know it sounds odd, but it is a charater i have seen rarely.

Yes actually, that is (Insofar as possible anyway) the general gist of their relationship. Without spoiling anything there's even a segment which lampshades that in Mass Effect 3's Citadel DLC.

In-case it was too subtle they made this happen. Citadel was great.

It is a sci-fi relationship that has emerged much before.

It's kind of that - I'm like a child but I'm in an adults body - something can be created through many different ways in sci-fi, but not so much in a story that plays out in the real world.

Star Trek have used it a bit - reminds me of 7 of 9, who looked like an adult and essentially was an adult with no knowledge of how to be a human, down to really the most basic level. So you get the situation where, unlike a very small child, the person can question directly what the 'adult' figure states as fact, so it's kind of an interesting look at what we tell our children.
