Mass effect "hot" chicks

Allright so hear me out here.
I recently started playing mass effect 2 (i know i'm slow ) and have gotten reasonably far into the main story and overall it's quite an amazing game, but here's my issue.
At the beginning of the game when Miranda is introduced i see all the signs that they clearly want me to think she's some hot girl that i by all means would wan't to get into bed with. Problem is i think she is probably the most ugly thing in the game. I even felt pretty awkward when she was on about her looks being "superior" to others. Same goes with Ashley Grahams that you meet up with somewhere along the line. She just looks weird to me. I mean. I get that i am supposed to think these two are hot but i am finding it very hard to do so.

Anyone with me on this, or am i some weird twisted anomaly in the fanbas

I'm not with you, but you're not the only one. A lot of people find the textures odd - I'll admit, everyone does look like a plastic doll (I think the Mass Effect games probably have some of the worst graphics ever, in relation to their competition - though they still create pretty skylines, so that doesn't really matter).

The whole superior thing is that she's genetically modified to be faster, smarter, able to use biotics, etc., the whole ball of wax. Yeah, she was designed to be pretty hot and most guys think that's true, but without spoiling anything there are women to suit many tastes as the game progresses, it's not all about her if you don't want it to be. Which I did.
