I preordered my copy of ME2 from gamestop so I got the Terminus armor and that black hole gun. The terminus armor is really good and I would be dumb not to use it but it does seem a little out of place sometimes. Whenever Im in a conversation and instead of seeing Shep's face there is just a big ass helmet. It kind of hurts the immersion.

Second, the black hole gun is OP. I can pretty much one shot any boss that comes my way and it seems pretty dumb to just fire it off and let it do its thing while I sit on my ass. I used it the first 2 big fights and have yet to use it anymore because it is just too powerful. Its really weird that a preorder item would be so powerful.

Lastly, if you own dragon age origins and have not gotten the dragon age armor for Shepard, DO IT NOW. Shit looks badass if nothing else.

thats exactly why i use the collectors laser...thing rapes entire crowds of baddies

and i prefer the terminus armor over the blood dragon, looks way more badass imo, even tho blood looks sick as fuck too

i just like that red trimmed full black armor, fits mass effect well, plus walking into a room makes my dude look like a bamf

Not for the pre-order armor. Which is unfortunate, since the Inferno Armor's helmet if fuck ugly.

I pre ordered the game from Gamestop and have gotten neither. But I probably wouldn't use the armor, the helmet puts me off.

Say what now? Why, that doesn't make any sense. Why would they give a game breaker as added incentive in hopes that people pay for the game when the publishers still get the largest cut?

I can guarantee that thanks to the number of complaints that Bioware have received over the helmet thing that either they or the community surrounding the game will release a mod that removes it.

I probably won't wear the Inferno Armor when I receive my preordered game in a day or so, because I wish to be immersed in the simmering juices of human interaction that made ME1 so much fun.

Actually according to a forum post they won't. Something to due with art design and technical issues. Removing the helmet from these suits causes conflicts with the game. It's a weak excuse, but sadly it seems that they don't intend to do anything.

I really don't care if I have to wear a helmet, so long as it's not ugly. The inferno helmet is horribly ugly. Shepard looks ridiculous in it.

And we should get on our knees and thank the Gaming Gods they won't attempt to fix it. Did you not hear about the last fix they put out that was only supposed to fix a couple broken achievements? They just bent the game over and spanked it. Jeepers they try to fix something as complex as the helmet our 360 will become self aware and destroy mankind.

Removing the helmet causes problems with the game? What about all the other suits of armor you can remove the helmet for?

Weak excuses are weak. Odds are then that the PC modding community will make a fix for their version, especially if the helmet is as ugly as thou claims.

Ehh... I preordered, and most, if not all, of the stuff is fairly worthless. Don't have the black hole gun (which does sound overpowered) but I have the armor, and I don't really use it. The benefits are easily replicated with regular armor, so...
