"They could have killed us by now, though, why haven't they? It would've been just as easy to plant a bomb at the bottom of this "floor trap", and we'd all be dead. Whoever is doing this obviously doesn't want us dead."
"Hmm. It seems they have a route planned out for us, what with the hole, then the tunnel, then the bomb. I think if we split up, at least some of us will be able to avoid this line of traps. How does that sound?"
Dak follows on, eyes searching for suspicious happenings in everything. He has a feeling in his guts that something was going to go wrong
Lag didn't like this cavern at all to narrow no space to move at all. He saw the other Turian Daknor looking just as nervous as him. He walked up to him, "Hey you look uneased. What do you feel?" It felt good to be speaking in his native tongue rather than that weird human language that had become the norm.
"I just don't trust this place," said Dak, relieved to speak his own language. "It feels like we're just being led around. I don't like playing into the enemy's hands..."
"I agree. What do you think of the Quarien. She seems unsure of herself and I really don't like it." But anyway which tribe do you represent?"
Elle was in the back of the group. She was looking around the tunnel. She hated the feeling of being in a confined space. She tripped on a rock and saw a wire going across the floor. "What the hell..." She said quietly. Elle looked up and saw that the group was very far ahead of her. She got up and ran to them. "Hey guys wait for me."
Dak's side-jaws twitched at Lag's question. He nodded to acknowledge the Quarien's command, then answered Lag again in Trurian
"I.. don't have a tribe anymore. When I was discharged from the Turian army, not only did my family exile me in shame, but I was broken from my tribe. Now I strive to prove myself, to rid myself of the dishonor, even though I can never return to them."

Elle ran and regrouped with the rest of her squad. She got there in time to hear what Dak was saying to Lag. She spoke even though she knew she wasn't being spoken to. "Wow. That must be hard. It sucks being by yourself." Elle switched out her shotgun and decided to get her pistol instead.
