"There's another way to check" said Dak, stepping in front of the nearest statue
He aimed his pistol at the statue's face, and pulled the trigger. It's head disappeared into shards of stone.
He stalked to the next one, took aim, and pulled the trigger..
The statue blurred, and Dak dived sideways automatically, as the Ra'Ja swept it's claws right through where he had been standing.

Nima gasped, then pulled out her omni-tool and blasted it with an Overload, taking down its shields. Turning to its new opponent, the Ra'Ja dove at Nima, pinning her to the ground and cutting off her air, pinning her gun arm hard enough to cut off the nerves as her pistol falls from her limp hand.
Dak rolls to his feet, and empty's a full clip into the Ra'Ja before it can move. It falls down and does not move again.
"Should we try that with all of them?" Dak grimly asks the room in general,

"There's that. And also, shooting one may antagonize the others to attack us. AT a distance, we have a chance to eliminate them before they can attack us."
Well i have this nice roll of explosives we could rig the room and shoot statues till one Ra'Ja sets off the rounds
"Sounds good. Only thing is..." he stepped in and lowered his voice, "They probably heard that. I advise you go in there and rig up the bombs, and we'll cover you. If they go for you, well get 'em, and any that hang about will go up in smoke. Any good?"
"Don't worry," mutter Dak quietly, not taking his eyes away from the statues, "Lag knows what he's doing"
"If one of them tries to make a run for it, I'll try and put as many as I can into stasis so we can escape before the explosion."
