The halls of the battleship were quiet, as the man snuck through them. He spotted a patrol up ahead and ducked behind a corner, waiting for it to pass. The lights in the hall were dampened providing him with some cover, making him blend in with the darkness.
He soon found the room he was looking for, and removed a small pack from his side. He removed two small metal objects and set to work on the door. A few moments later there was a soft click and he slowly and quietly pushed the door open. The room was dark, the light from the hallway not enough to lighten the room any. Moving to a cabinet as if he knew exactly where he was going, the crook removed his pack again and made short work of the next lock. Reaching into the cabinet, the man removed a small package. What it was couldn't be determined in the darkness, but the man had no need of the light, he knew it was what he was looking for.
The soft stirring of something moving in a bed caught the man's attention. He quickly turned around, removing his sidearm and looking towards the bed. The shape of a man rose from the bed, awoken by the small noises. The sound of slippers on carpet could be heard as the shape moved towards the cabinet and the crook. "Wha' was that?"
The crook began to panic, there wasn't supposed to be anyone in here. He had made sure of it. He made a move to get away from the shape but the noise was too much. Suddenly the shape jolted as if the man was just waking up, and he made a half run half stumble to a cabinet by his bed. "Who's there?" The crook had no choice, he raised his side arm and pulled the trigger. The suppressor kept the gun quiet as several bullets blew through the shape's chest. The now lifeless body slumped to the floor and the crook made his escape from the room, careful not to alert the patrols as he moved from the area.

The next morning, an important looking man in a uniform that looked like it had been thrown on in haste stood in the same room, now filled with light. The body of a middle aged man lay on the floor beside the bed, three bullet holes through his chest. A gun was laying beside his right hand, he had known the attacker was in the room and had had time to go for his gun. A cabinet a little ways from the bed was opened, whatever was inside was gone. "Do we know what they took?"
A young man, with slicked back hair and a blue suit of armour on looked up from the body. "No sir. No one can tell us what was in there. The only person who knew, is right here." He nodded towards the body.
This was not what the Commander had wanted to wake up to. A high up official from the Citadel, murdered the day before his return to the Citadel. Something, had been stolen from the Official but no one knew what it was. Something important, the Commander knew that.
First someone hacks into the database and steals some hidden files, that no one seemed to know were even there in the first place. These weren't your average heists.
The Commander turned and left the room. Turning on the comm, he addressed his assistant. "Send Captain Tsurugi to my quarters ASAP."

OK so this RP is based in the Mass Effect Universe, and it will take place on a Human Battleship that is being used to test how different Species can work together. Most of the higher ups on the ship are human but the crew is an assortment of different Species. (Meaning you can be almost any species) You will be part of an investigation team looking into the heists, with me (Captain Tsurugi) as the leader.
