Mastering a game for years

Recently I finally bought KOTOR 2 again (oooh it feels so good!!!) and I became addicted to it isntantly. In many posts I have stated how it is my favorite game of all time, and one of the reasons is because I mastered it quite well. I pretty much know the best way to build my character to be extremely strong, get as much exp as there is available so I gain level ups quickly. Seriously! Yesterday I reached lv 15 and gained prestige mode in Mandalorian's Camp once you finish all the tasks, that is a new fastest record for me (Mind you it is the first planet I traveled to, I did not go to Korriban first and exploit the infinite Hssiss trick).

The most satisfying part about is that I haven't played this game in like over a year and a half yet I am already mastering it so well, my character is a Jedi Counsular (now Sith Lord) and his force powers almost NEVER fail, I use Kill on pretty much every character, and my Force Lightning can kill most of them in one or two attacks.

So basically KOTOR 2 is one of those games I am a master of, such a master that I have been able to dominate with my character even after not playing it for so long.

So are there any games in which you can master inside and out? Even after not playing them for ages?

I pretty much lived in Cyrodil for a year, and can recall almost every little thing that happened there.

Also, I am so insanely awesome at Alchemy, it used to be my least favorite skill, but damn is it useful. I take down motherfuckers like no ones business. I get through a cave or a ruin without the battle music playing once.

Also, I rape at Soul Calibur 2. Seriously Nightmare, Cervantes, Link, Astaroth, Ivy, pretty much anyone except the really Asian Characters.

I never put enough effort into a game to become a true master of it. Though I do know quite a few tricks in the editors of Spore, there are so many creators who are so much better than me.

Probably the SSBB and SSBM games, since when I first played SSBB, I had played Melee so much that I literally walked on and played like a proish person...I'm no saying I'm the best player ever, and I'll always learn more, but for a game, I'd say I'm a master at it since I still destroy my friends at it

probably SSBB. i havent played SSBM and i dont have a Gamecube controller (planning on buying one), but when i really want to, i turn into rape in a box with Falco or Ganondorf.

The ultimate online FPS to master is Counter Strike source on PC. Forget COD, this is where the hardcore is at. And because it's been out so long it's really only the people who are quite good who are left playing it.

Normally it would be, I think with my first mage related character, I got it up to something like 78. After that Its hard.

I did get conjuration up to a hundred though.

However, with the efficient leveling skills (cheat-like) that I used with my later accounts, I can get it to a hundred in a couple of hours. So if you want the tip (for that and most skills), I'm willing to share my secrets.

Master Of Orion 2. Let the Antarans beware whenever I'm in the controls. Make no mistake, the game is hard, but it is extremely rare for me, even after all these years, to get into a situation I can't get out of regardless of my racial abilities.

Then there is also VtM: Bloodlines. I've beaten that game something like 12 times. But it's fun to do personal challenges like 'never upgrade any weapons skills' or completing the game with only one Masquerade point. Keeps it fresh and challenging, and thus interesting.

I did the survivor difficulty without using a vita chamber, and if I for some reason would be dropped in Rapture, I would know where I had to be instantly.

Hmm I suck at games - well, not suck, but not really a "master" of any. Although I was insanely good at Ranger X on the Megadrive for those that remember it, and me and a friend used to "refine" our times on one of the sonic 3 races to merely a few milliseconds of a "major uk record"

Crash Team Racing, sort of. I just can't beat all of N. Oxide's ghost time things. Seriously, they're 'effing impossible.
I'm pretty good at inFamous too. I haven't finished it on Hard yet, but it's not that much harder than Normal, which I basically breezed through.

Halo 1, I know every spawn, how to kill the AI in levels, how to activate animations on elites that keep them from diving away, in co-op I know all the teleportation points so you can avoid major battles, and even though its been 2 years since I've played it it's still stuck in my head.

Morrowind.

I just got back into it again. Despite playing it for months on end, there are still some awesome places I never visited. I also bought a second copy because it was in a nicer box. It had a map with loads of big places on, which I used to find the place I hadn't been, but were really important.

Also, the Tamriel Rebuilt project has given me another couple of hundred hours of random wanderings.

I also bought oblivion, but that was the complete opposite. I never have played such a hatefully awful RPG. Choose a generic class, go out into a generic RPG world and go though hundreds of identical dungeons, grinding for level ups to get some good equipment because the game simply will not let you have it until you meet and arbitrary level requirement, then suddenly every enemy in the game is equipped with the best armour in the game. Where did bandits get daedric armour? who knows. In morrowind the only level requirement was being able to find and get to the ridiculously rare armour, meaning you actually found some value in the armour you found hidden across the entire game and expansions. There are plenty of other things I hate about oblivion, but I don't want to spend hours writing them down.

I did get all my magic skills up to master but tell me for future characters please.

Theres a lot. First of all, you'll need access to the Arcane University, and a semi lot of gold.

First of all, you'll want to use the +5 +5 +1 [http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Efficient_Leveling] leveling.

For Destruction/Restoration, make a 3pt fire damage spell on yourself with a 3pt restore health spell. Cast repeatedly. This actaully takes a pretty long time, but its better than doing it normally. Just flip on a tv show, and press the button repeatedly.

Basically, do that for each magic skill.

Conjuration is the easiest and goes by the fastest. (Summon dagger for the lowest time, cast repeatedly)

Mysticism Detect life for lowest amount of time cast repeatedly.

Illusion is just creat a Light Spell for smallest amount of time cast repeatedly.

Alteration is just cast Water Breathing for 3 seconds repeatedly.

The magic schools basically fallow that principle. Except for Alchemy, were you should just use the duplicating glitch to spawn fruit and make tons of fortify fatigue potions. And trust me it is worth it. Alchemy is probably the least appreciated skill, but it is the most powerful.


For other skills its a bit harder.

For sneak, either go to Rufio, who can be found sleeping in the basement of the Inn of Ill Omen, who sleeps for ever without waking up. Or if you've killed him for the DB quest, The Skooma Den in Bravil - they sleep all night, all at the same time, and it is not trespassing; enter during daytime, wait until night time, and you can sneak into a corner or bed. Or my personal favorite The sleeping prisoner?who will never awaken?if you have the Vile Lair plugin. And theres the cook at the Jerall View Inn

For the armors, simply do that quest where you get the Scamps. Turn the difficulty all the way up, hit one, then turn it all the way down. And let them have at you. Then use a repair hammer after. YOu can also do with for Block.

For combat, just do the opposite of this. Keep on killing em, but it takes a long time.

Whats left.... Uhhh...

A good trick is to find a trainer then use a Damage skill spell to get skill to zero, ten the Training is free!

For Atheltics just do to the bottom most part of the continent (Where the cave for nocturnal's eye is. And just keep on swimming forward. Till you hit an invisible wall and swim in place.

I think I covered most if not all. Some of these are less effectice than others, but the magic school ones work the best.

fallout 3 i'd say pretty good, maybe not master, but good enough. CRT is pretty much my childhood, so i would say master at that, and i USED to be awesome at rayman. got it again a few weeks ago, forgot how ridiculous it was. oh and the PS1 flight sim descent. that game was just, win
