Name: Josef Malcon
Evil Name: Beelzibub III
Age: ???
Beginning Power Source: Coal (I'm evil, right? So screw Greenpeace!)
Minions: 50
Place on Map: ??? (No longer Nevada. The plans were leaked)
Bio: After an unrepeatable accident involving a rubber band, a turkey sandwich and a cotton spool, Josef was granted superhuman intelligence. However, the accident also broke his mind, sending him completely insane. Josef was 8.
Josef was placed in a high security mental hospital, where he escaped and went on the run, after killing the two men guarding him with nothing but a shoelace.
He is known among minions for rapid mood swings and improvising plans on the fly. These plans tend to work out. His minions work under a regime of fear, since he frequently takes his anger out on them in various inventive ways.

Name: Viktor Baranov
Evil Name/Nickname: The Mad Russian
Age: 55
Beginning Power Source: Nuclear

We're starting people!

Okay, you have 200 tiles in your mountain base to begin with, you'll need to purchase more potent explosives to excavate more room, which I'll allow you to do in a bit.

You can devote them to one of the follow:

Barracks: You house 5 minions per tile

Armory: You can arm 10 minions per tile

Infirmary: 2 tiles house 5 minions who are injured (you may want to be able to have 15 injured at once to start out with)

Control: Per 5 tiles, you get .5 more 'Data' per turn. Data can be used to; Discover other Masterminds lairs, Discover a valuable item/piece of technology to steal, etc.

Example: Discovering another Mastermind's lair's whereabouts may be 10 data.

Recreation: 1 tile can keep 2 minions entertained at once, and while this isn't necessary the invisible yet omnipresent 'Moral' factor will get a boost. Bare in mind you get to choose how many people have a break at a time.

Take away 20 from the beginning for the energy room.

You need to fill those up, you can spoiler them or PM them to me but I don't see this as being to invaluable.

Each turn is 1 week, each month has 3 weeks (for game purposes). I'll help as things go on.

After you layout you base...

It's a turn-based affair. You get 25,000,000$ to start with and get 25,000$ more a turn as a default, which can be upped by sending minions out to steal money from the world.

5 minions out stealing is 25,000$ more per turn.
You get different sources of information some of the main ones are; Spies, the News, 'Villains Monthly,' just to name a few.

Aside from which you get a magazine called GUNS every other week which allows you to make anonymous orders for new hardware.

NEWS:
-----
In Tehran this morning, a massive shootout started, killing 24 civilians and policemen and wounding 135 more. The attackers are still unidentified and there is no information on their whereabouts.
-----
In Iceland, Dr. Ashleigh claims to have discovered a cure for the common cold, and is set to make a statement in one weeks time on his findings. A vaccination for such a common sickness could make the patent holder rich.
-----
A controversial video went on the internet today, showing Georgian civilians being lead through chain link fences into some manner of camp by Russian troops. No authority on the subject or leader could be reached for statement or opinion.

Villains Monthly:
-----
'The Cat,' an infamous if unimaginative cat bungler, has stolen a priceless diamond from a museum in France. We salute his continued series of burglaries, and are waiting on word of when it will be available on the Black Market.
-----
AD- Tired of trying to make that reactor-grade junk into a dirty bomb? Fret no more! We have 100% refined Uranium for only 1,000,000$!

GUNS:
-----
Shipments of AK47's still available for the low, low price of 100,000$!
-----
Need your jobs done quietly? We have the latest in silencers, with a perfect blend of suppression and punch to give you the best bang for your buck!
-----
Micro Uzi's, en masse for only 50,000$!

Note#1:
Buying a large shipment of weapons basically means you never run out. You have normal 9mm's in your armory as a default.

Note#2:
You can PM me to ask if you can do something pertaining to the news, i.e. try to find The Cat or something of the like or kind.

Note#3: It costs 3.5 Data to find an new act of infamy at the moment. Acts of infamy will gain you notoriety among other things, such as technology, money, or a priceless treasure.

NOTE: I added a new spoiler box to the top that goes over all the mechanics I've talked about so far. I'll add more as we go, by turn 3 we should know everything and how it works and I can sit back and let you all be nefarious.

Right, thank you. New bases are 50,000,000$ all across the board. That's not too much of a stretch if you grow your minion horde (I'll talk about that after almost everyone's gotten in) and do some infamous acts.

So can we start like now, or is there more we need to know? If we can start, should I PM you what I intend on doing?

Good questions.

Yes, you can PM me what you plan to do or, if you don't think it's all too important, post it on the thread.

Also, Date can be used to try and contact other Masterminds. Sure, you can just PM them, but I won't recognize you both know one another until it happens in game. You can try with any amount of Data you'd like to contact another Mastermind, but I won't tell you how much you need to put in. No worries though, it stacks :p

Note: The difference between contacting someone and finding their base is finding is kind of stalker-ish and gives you a bit of a one up on them. Needless to say contact is easier than finding.

So begin! In your first turn you can use Data in any of the ways I've suggested, purchase guns, attempt to recruit minions, send some of them out to steal, or something I haven't mentioned!

Just ask if you're at all confused about what you can/can't do.

Do you start with any minions?
