Don't fret! Precal is easy! All it is is the Pythagorean theorem. And Calculus is just algebra that incorporates the concept of 0 and infinity.stone0042 said:Wow, here i was thinking i was smart in math. Then again i am just a junior in high school and only in precalc.
A tip to memorize all the trigonometric properties.
A²+B²=R² (R being Radius) and this is the Pythagorean Theorem.
-if you divide everything by R² it goes to
A²/R² + B²/R² = 1
- which also translates into Sin²(x)+Cos²(x)=1
You can do this by dividing A² as well.
A²/A² + B²/A² = R²/A²
-which translates into 1+Cot²(x)=Sec²(x)
etcetc.
But yeah. I get all fired up when I talk about mathematics. It's beautiful and it's backed by logic. It's objective and it's not "gibberish" as most closed minded people would put it; it's a beautiful language that is concise and deep. -swoons-
