Do you think it fair the treatment he recieved?
Do you believe the woman is simply milking money out of it?

I don't believe it to be fair at all. It was stupid what he had done, but to bring it up 7 years later claiming to have suffered severe trauma...The woman consented, then later bragged about it. What pisses me off more, is that Matty is copping the blame while the others involved simply get a slap on the wrist, sitting idly while their former teammate has his life ruined. And this doesn't just happen in Rugby League, it happens in every sport and it's disgusting. I'm in support of what happened the night of the incident 7 years ago, but I do support Matty being reinstated back into the Channel 9 network to continue his hosting duties on The Footy Show.

So this guy has been sacked for having group sex while on tour with a woman who bragged about it then became depressed..
Oh, because she said it was rape (or something, I skim the stuff I don' care about) 5 days later after bragging about it. Stupid Cow.

I think it's ridiculous, she was apparently consensual and apparently even bragged about it at a later date. I think she just got clinically depressed over realising that she was "easy" and therefore tried to make a bit of money out of it.

I don't think that she was taken advantage of, nor should anyone be held responsible... especially due to the fact that no illegal practices were committed. I think it's disgusting that the other members are taking the backseat whilst Matthew Johns is taking full responsibility for something that, quite frankly, you can't take full responsibility for.

If this had happened the other way around, e.g. a man was claiming depressions et al because he had group sex with x number of women rugby players he would be laughed out of the damn country.
