Hell, Clint should've already have been a superhero. The Man should've been Batman! Want proved that he was destined to play The Dak Knight? Back when the Adam West Batman show was on, Clint Eastwood was slated to play Two-Face. The idea was scrapped because the executives thought it would be too grisly. Code for "too awesome for tv".

I'm down with this.

Um, Clint Eastwood is about to turn 81. As fantastic as I'm sure he'd be I can't really see him doing a superhero movie at this point.

Also, as someone pointed out, Gran Torino was a fantastic film, any roles at this point would just seem extraneous.

This is a premise I can dig. All Matt needs to do is sell it to a big studio. The A-List Actors will be easy from there.

that sounds...interesting. but X-Men First Class had better be great! or else...no and bye

I know this girl who's a huge Hugh Jackman fan pointed out that David Beckham looked kinda similar (and Robert Downey Jr. if you squinted)...and then she saw a young picture of Clint Eastwood and was like whoaaa snap (kinda reminds me of how the young John McCain looked like Tom Cruise...)

Now if he tries to cast people like Kurt Russel, Bruce Willis, Sam Jackson,Robert DeNiro or Morgan Freeman...i might believe Vaughn. Robert Redford would fit in nicely too, but he wouldnt do it, i guess.
and I thought this...

He is a super-hero already!

One of the most badass actors known to man, I hope this happens.

I think Watchmen covered the concept of retired superheroes already, but I'm interested in seeing how a superhero movie starring CLINT F#$%ING EASTWOOD would work out.

They should hurry up and book Clint in for the role of Roland Deschain for the Dark Tower movie/series before he (heaven forbid) keels over.
Clint Eastwood doesn't die. However, I wouldn't be surprised if he got bored of this plane of existence and found another one. No time soon I hope.
In this way, he totally beats out Chuck Norris.

If the movie turns out as it's described up there, I would probably end up in debt from watching it so many times.

I firmly believe that the genre of "bad-ass retirees" films have been beaten to death. Getting a bunch of A list actors, way past their prime, together for one last hi-jinks is not something I'll shell out $12 for.

Seeing Clint again would be nice, but the guy is in his 80's now. I firmly believe Gran Torino was the end of his acting career (it is about a retired version of every character he has ever played finding peace at last), so I doubt he would get into some tights for a super hero film.
