Maximum Payne

Hi, Hey Joe here.

I'm sorry to do this (and for the awful pun in the title), but this morning I noticed Max Payne and Max Payne 2 being offered as XBOX original downloads and having played neither in my time, I was wondering which one you thought was more deserving of my moolah.

The first one was good at the time it came out. Alot of games since then have used it's style, especially the bullet time feature. But I must say it is one of my most favored games from my childhood.

They're both great games, why else would they bother to put both on the xbox originals...

I agree, both are great, but if you can only afford the one, then get the first.

It's been a while, but I don't recall much difference beyond slightly prettier visuals and a lack of frustrating jumpy-dream levels in 2. On the whole, though, they're both good, if ever so slightly repetitive. Worth playing just for Max's monologues.

Get them both. They're probably only 800 or 1200 microsoft points anyway.

I loved those games... it's a pity about the 6 gig download though.....
