Sooo ....

All this Jedi fart-hugging. Every channel, every hour.

Well I've had just about enough of it.

I propose a new holiday. May the Sith, the only day that can spit in the eye of May 4th and get away with it with flashy red lightsabres no less.

As a side note ... and primarily why I started this thread .. what is so goddamn bad about a Sith ruled Empire?

The Jedi didn't do a damned thing about poverty, inequality, slavery ... they just sat in their temple and said 'we are good' and did piss all UNLESS some form of nobility was threatened.

I personally welcome my Sith overlord, for I know he/she shall do a far better job than those amateurs in the Jedi Council.

You're right about the Jedi being a joke, yeah. Possibly that's because we didn't really see them (on-screen) in power until the prequels, which, well, were the prequels.

I mean, I'm just sayin'. Also, May 5th is already a nationally recognized holiday (At least in America and some parts of Mexico). Cinco de Mayo? I think most people will choose copious amounts of tequila over red lightsaber toys any day.

Sure, the Sith have a lot of cool powers but in the end, they're just a bunch of dicks. Maybe the Jedi weren't the best leaders but at least they: weren't secretly plotting to take complete control of the galaxy and achieving this through a fake galactic civil war which resulted in the deaths of millions.

You're looking at the end and completely forgetting the means Palpatine took to get there.
