The cups aren't poisonous or anything. The paint has "a metal" in it, and falls within consumer product regulations, but I guess McD wasn't going to have any of it though, and issued a recall. They are made in China after all.

I'm not worried about China taking over the US. They can't make paint right for Christs sake.
