McGee's Grimm

American McGee is not one of my favourite game developers. His only successful game so far Alice was, in my humble opinion, a shoddy platformer/shooter wrapped up in a painfully unsubtle post Nightmare before Christmas, money spinning aesthetic. The less said about his over efforts the better.

But I'm torn, Gametap is offering all of his Grimm series games for free over this weekend. If I'm going to play the series I'm going to have to spend most of my weekend (which is a valuable commodity) to get through it in time. Put simply. Is it worth my time?

Actually I've heard each game is rather different and they often get very different reviews. Nice attempt at a post though.

If you mean graphics then fuck you sir, graphics are more of a marker of time than anything else nowadays.
If you mean general gameplay, then that's your opinion, and I respect it.

Nah, the graphics look alright anyway. They're different, at least. But it just looks like shovelware mini-game crap.

I've played the ones for A Christmas Charol and A Boy Learns what Fear Is. Other than learning the actual stories, I was unimpressed.

The earlier ones aren't great, but they get better further on. Try a couple, they only take half an hour.
